Preserve Old Roses

I've said that "Roses Are In Trouble": https://youtu.be/DYvKY1rP-S8 but what to do about it? Happily, I've heard from rose gardeners around the world who are taking a hand at collecting out-of-trade (or nearly so) roses and propagating them for future generations. The safest spot for any rose is in when it's grown in many gardens!
I said I'd give you some book recommendations: "Classic Roses" by Peter Beales, "A Passion for Roses" Peter Beales, "Roses" by Roger Phillips and Martyn Rix, "Old Roses" by Roger Phillips and Martyn Rix, "Roses" by Orietta Sala. That should give you a start! Here's an Amazon link to help find them:
