The Reverb Triplet groove Mp4

Using a ton of reverb on a drum pattern like this one where the snare and bass drum are spaced creates an interesting effect or illusion, making the drums appear large, huge and bigger than everything else on the recording . Take a listen to Led Zepplin's "When the Levy Breaks" It starts with a fat drum groove with a large amount of reverb. The other instruments were recorded with some reverb but not as much as the drums giving the sense that the drums are on top of the other instruments almost looking down on the guitar, vocals, harmonica and bass., To much reverb on the all the instruments would make all the notes being played unintelligible giving a cloudy mesh of noise.
Done correctly it gives a nice touch to your recordings.
