CCP Experts On Red Carpet When Inspecting “High Yield” Corn 中共專家踩紅地毯考察“高產玉米”

On September 28, local 0fficials rolled out red carpet for CCP experts, Professor Dai Jingrui and Li Jiansheng of China Agricultural University, when they went to Hebi City, Qibin District in Henan Province to inspect the so-called "record-breaking" high yield new varieties of corn.
Netizens suspect that such a high-profile publicity campaign is aimed at the public's worries about food safety in the face of severe flooding in China this year.
中共治下的特權越來越氾濫，紅地毯常見於奧斯卡頒獎典禮或官方接待外賓的場合，但中共工程院院士日前赴河南考察莊稼地時，當地政府也在田間小路上鋪滿紅地毯，引髮網絡炸鍋。
據河南官媒報導，9月28日，以中國工程院院士、中國農業大學教授戴景瑞爲首的專家組，到該省鶴壁市淇濱區鉅橋鎮劉寨村玉米示範田內，對所謂畝產“破紀錄”的玉米新品種——“豫單9953”進行了“測產驗收”。
在中國各地糧食因天災大面積減產、絕產的背景下，當局這次高調的所謂“測產驗收”，顯然是針對“糧荒”的維穩宣傳。當地電視臺播放的相關新聞後，引發爭議。
官媒畫面顯示，戴景瑞等一衆專家和官員，意氣風發地走在玉米地的田間小路上，腳下踩的則是猩紅的地毯。又長又寬的紅地毯，幾乎覆蓋了整條小路，專家官員們的皮鞋上纖塵不染。
