TEAR GAS deployed on women rallying against violence in Istanbul

Tensions were high at a rally protesting violence against women in Istanbul as police TEARGASSED the crowd of demonstrators in a bid to disperse them. The women’s rights group, We Will Stop Femicide, reported that 353 women have been murdered in Turkey in 2021 alone, and 410 were killed last year.
