Moving a Large Shrub (Rose) with a Mini Excavator
How do you know when a rose is too large to move by hand? I guess it depends on how much time and effort you're willing to put into the transplanting process - and for me, the prospect of moving dozens of large shrubs (and a couple of trees too!) gave me good reason to consider the alternative. I rented an excavator, and accomplished in a day what would have have been spread over many weekends of work. This is a quick video to show the mess I make in the process!
