Evaluating Vinegar Uses in the Garden (Sorry, No Miracles Today)

Recommended uses for vinegar in the garden include: weed killer, fungicide, insecticide, animal repellant, rooting hormone, fertilizer, amongst others. Is there any truth to these claims? In this video, I'll go through some of the most common garden "folk remedies" involving vinegar, and evaluate if they make sense:

00:00 Intro
00:51 Adjust pH in soil
02:29 Weed killer
04:10 Insecticide
05:12 Fungicide
06:18 Repel animals
07:50 Kill slugs and snails
08:08 Improve seed germination
08:50 Cure blossom-end rot
10:30 Rooting hormone
11:15 Fruit fly/Fungus gnat trap

Longer than my usual video! Sadly, it's easier to claim something works than to explain why it probably won't.
