MP: ‘Barbaric’ Organ Harvesting Must Stop

Labour MP Marie Rimmer suggested an amendment to the Health and Care bill Tuesday, proposing a change in the law to help curb forced organ harvesting in China, where organs are carved out from political prisoners and sold for profit.

In 2019, the China Tribunal ruled that imprisoned practitioners of the spiritual discipline Falun Gong are the main source of organs for forced organ harvesting.
