I grew up in Sacramento, CA. When I was twenty five, my wife, two boys and I moved to Las Vegas. After living there for sixteen years, we moved to Kansas, where now live.
My interest in magic started when I was six. My Dad was a hobbyist, and was often showing awesome tricks he would learn from the several magic books he owned (the same books that he would later give to me).
This was also the year I started watching David Copperfield’s yearly magic specials on tv. Every spring I would start scouting our copy of the weekly TV Guide in anticipation of the awesomeness he always delivered, year after year (yes, I can be obsessive).
My interest in history was just as strong, and started about the same time as the magic. I am lucky to have parents who like to read. My Dad would let me read his books not only on history, but about ghosts, cryptids, and the paranormal.
I was also fortunate to have both my parents support what I enjoyed doing, even as I grew older. And now, I have my Goddess (wife) who supports me wholeheartedly as well. I’ve been very fortunate.
