Field Mice Found With Tangled Tails

My name is Alibulat. I have been engaged in farming for many years, or rather, I grow melons and gourds. On August 20, 2021, as usual, early in the morning, I started watering through the irrigation canal to water the watermelon field. At this time, in the south of Russia, or rather in the Stavropol Territory, it can be very hot, and you have to water the field all day so that the soil draws in as much moisture as possible. Once again, going around and inspecting the field, I found a ball of five mice on the bank of the irrigation canal. I took the phone and filmed everything that happened. Later, I found out that this is a rare phenomenon in nature - Rat king. There are several specimens preserved in museums, but very few instances of rat kings have been observed in modern times, especially with live rats.
