When the cavity's not quite big enough

Prior to final bore sizing you can make modifications to your cast bullets. Nose reshaping, meplat flattening and expanding, the list goes on and on. You can also take the opportunity to open the hollow point up a bit. This really doesn't require a lot of special tools. In this video I am using a 308 caliber bullet, chucked up in the drill press, to stretch the hollow point cavity. I am using the drill press depth adjustment to make sure they are stretched to a uniform depth. These happen to be a soft cast lead 155 grain "Keith" bullet in 357 caliber.
