POISONED MEAD

Sabjorn owns and runs Honningbrew Meadery but Maven Black-Briar wants Sabjorn out because Sabjorn was cutting into the Black-Briar's profits.

The Dragonborn was hired by Maven Black-Briar through the Thieves Guild to do the job with the help of Mallus Maccius.

To take out Sabjorn out of the picture, the Dragonborn pretended to help Sabjorn take care of some rats or skeevers. Sabjorn gave the Dragonborn some poison to use on the skeevers nest but the Dragonborn also poured the poison in one Honningbrew Vat.

Commander Caius drunk the poisoned Honningbrew Mead and it led to the arrest of Sabjorn for selling something that would kill people when drunk.
