B Encouraged: Christ Is So Interested In You, He Left Heaven - We Should Live Likewise (11/25/21)

In Philippians 1 and 2, Paul calls the believers to stand firm in their unity - in doing so, they show their enemies a glimpse of salvation. This is especially true in the midst of shared suffering; for it is there that we experience intimately the encouragement, comfort and joy of Christ. As Christ was interested in us, we are to be interested in one another. Our hearts become tender as we share in Christ's humility. Furthermore, there is a victory that comes from participating with one another in lowly conditions. God walks in and overcomes, as He did after the cross, and together we encounter the fullness of Christ's authority.
