20211124 Suspending Disbelief - The Daily Summation

I've just never been the person who used things like movies, video games, or music, to "suspend disbelief."

The result of being in the family of which I'm a part, is that there's a tendency not to ANALYZE but to OVER ANALYZE things presented to me.

That means sneaking bad concepts or ideas into various presentations is VERY difficult where I'm concerned.

Unfortunately, too many folks--particularly when suspending disbelief--are all too willing, to let things in that have NO business being in the mind of a sensible, reasonable, rational human being.

I'm calling on such folks to do JUST ONE THING.

WAKE UP!

STOP allowing people to push "wonderlands" at you, chock full of PURELY GARBAGE ideas and concepts.

Want you escape reality? Use movies, television shows, streaming services, video games, even social and news media to your heart's content.

When you're done though, EXAMINE what's been presented, to decide what needs all but summarily TOSSED OUT (you're going to find a GOOD MANY things that fit that category).

Stop letting these things settle in your mind.

It was from this place, that I created today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
