Forming a prepper community is a very important part of surviving a disaster or major civil unrest. A community of people who have shared goals of survival is much more sustainable for long term survival than someone who tries to go it alone.

There is a difference between forming a militia group and forming a prepper community. While a militia group would have a very important role in protecting the community, there is still a need for people with other skills. There needs to be people who have medical experience, know how to prepare food for long term storage.
