Patrick Wave Pool by Poolside Speedo - Creeper World 4

Patrick Wave Pool is another great long-distance map; this one by Poolside Speedo. I enjoyed the fact that it had a rift already made and some basic weapons in place already. These replaced turrets allowed the map to be beaten faster and easier than it would have. Because of this, this map is a good one for newer players to enjoy long-distance maps. The great pace in the map and a refreshingly simplistic take on this concept of a map.

Keep an eye out for the Skimmers and the Launchers. Skimmers can release their EMP when killed, and this can place merry hell with your defenses. Launchers lob their payloads above the reach of the ground-based missile launchers if the trajectory takes it to your base on the other end of the map. I would have liked to see more Redon and Bluite on the map personally, but it is not mandatory and can be beaten without those.
