Sunday Gulch & Wildlife Loop | Custer SP | South Dakota

A beautiful 3-mile loop trail in Custer State Park, South Dakota travels past rock formations, through woods and meadows with expansive views of the Black Hills. A quarter of the trail (start or end) requires some rock climbing skills and arm strength to pull yourself along on metal handrails. Afterwards, Wildlife Loop serene drive let us see some animals. Spectacular display of fall colors in mid-October, 2021.
