Meet the lively and brightly colored little clownfish

Clownfish are fish from the Amphiprioninae tribe in the Pomacentridae tribe. There are twenty-eight known species, one of which belongs to the genus Premnas, while the rest belongs to the genus Amphiprion. They are scattered in the Pacific Ocean, Red Sea, Indian Ocean, and the great reefs of Australia. In the wild they are in symbiosis with sea anemones. The anemone will protect the clownfish from predators and the clown fish will clean the anemone by eating the rest of the anemone's food. Clownfish are yellow, orange, reddish or black. The largest species reach a length of 18 cm, while the smallest are only 6 cm.
