Ratchet and Clank Reboot - Part 2 - The First Big Boss Fight!

Ratchet & Clank is a platformer-shooter video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is a re-imagining of the first game in the series, based on the film by Rainmaker Entertainment and Blockade Entertainment.

With Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart for PS5 just around the corner, I thought it would be good to go back and do a full gameplay walkthrough with commentary on the 2016 reboot. Ratchet and Clank PS4 will also be available for free in the month of March 2021 as part of PlayStation's Play At Home initiative. This will be a complete full walkthrough of Ratchet and Clank PS4 played on the PS5 with all boss fights from beginning to end.

Ratchet & Clank, sometimes referred to as Ratchet & Clank 11 or Ratchet & Clank (2016) to differentiate it from other parts of the series, referred to as Ratchet & Clank (PS4) on Insomniac Games' official website, and occasionally called Ratchet & Clank: The Game, Based on the Movie, Based on the Game, is an upcoming title in the Ratchet & Clank series, developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. It is a re-imagining of the original Ratchet & Clank, and its release is tied to the upcoming movie.

The video game will be an origin story that retells the events of the original Ratchet & Clank, depicting how Ratchet and Clank met each other as they attempt to save the Solana Galaxy from being destroyed by Chairman Drek and the Blarg. However, the film will expand on various plot points in greater detail, and will also incorporate some elements from later series entries, such as the introduction of Doctor Nefarious and the Galactic Rangers.
