On today's episode, I am interviewing Robert Taft. Mr. Taft is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for International Operations. In this capacity he was in charge of opening US&FCS offices in Haiti, Vietnam, China and South Africa after apartheid. He also worked and lived in nearly 80 countries, was involved in Middle East negotiations between Israel and Egypt, and has been a consultant to the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency as well as several African and Mid-East countries. He has consulted with several multinational companies and foreign governments. He served as President and CEO of the World Trade Centers Association of Florida (consisting of seven World Trade Centers) and taught international business at Georgetown University and the University of Central Florida. He has also taught classes on globalism and Islamism, written five books and several articles and has been a keynote speaker on several occasions. He was a member of the U.S. Foreign Service Board and Who’s Who in America.
