In this video you will learn the numbers 101-1,000,000.
Any number after 100 (cien) such as 101 (one hundred one) in Spanish we will need to convert "cien" into "ciento" and then add the other numbers, leave a space between "ciento" and the number.

101- ciento uno
102- ciento dos
103- ciento tres
104- ciento cuatro
105 - ciento cinco
106- ciento seis
107- ciento siete
108- ciento ocho
109 -ciento nueve
110 -ciento diez

Remember that the numbers 11-15 are very different in Spanish
111 -ciento once
112 -ciento doce
113 -ciento trece
114- ciento catorce
115 -ciento quince

Remember that for the numbers 16-19 we will need to use "diez" with a spelling change "dieci__" and add the number (6-9) to complete it.

116 -ciento dieciséis
117- ciento diecisiete
118 -ciento dieciocho
119- ciento diecinueve

120 -ciento veinte

Remember that for 21-29 we will use "veinte" with a spelling change "veinti____" and add the numbers (1-9)

121 -ciento veintiuno
122 -ciento veintidós
123 -ciento veintitrés
124 -ciento veinticuatro
125 -ciento veinticinco
126- ciento veintiséis
127 -ciento veintisiete
128 -ciento veintiocho
129 -ciento veintinueve

Remember that for any number higher than 30, such as 31 (thirty-one) in Spanish we write then like this 31 treinta y uno (three words). This will make the counting easier as you only need to remember the numbers 1-9

131 -ciento treinta y uno
132 -ciento treinta y dos
133 -ciento treinta y tres
134 -ciento treinta y cuatro
135 -ciento treinta y cinco
136 -ciento treinta y seis
137 -ciento treinta y siete
138 -ciento treinta y ocho

Follow the above pattern to do the other numbers.
140 -ciento cuarenta
150- ciento cincuenta
160 -ciento sesenta
170 -ciento setenta
180- ciento ochenta
190 -ciento noventa
199- ciento noventa y nueve

For 200, 300, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900 you will use the number plus the word "cientos"
200- doscientos
201 -doscientos uno
202 -doscientos dos

300 -trescientos
400 -cuatrocientos

500 -quinientos
this one is different, do you remember 15 quince?

600 -seiscientos

700 -setecientos
this one is different too, do you remember 70 setenta?

800 -ochocientos

900 -novecientos
this one is also different, do you remember 90 noventa?

999- novecientos noventa y nueve

1.000 -mil (1,000 one thousand)
In Spanish we use a decimal point instead of a comma (,) for numbers in the thousand range and up.

Use the number plus the word "mil" to talk about thousand. The word "mil" will not change.
2.000 -dos mil
10.000 -diez mil
100.000 -cien mil

1.000.000 -un millón (1,000,000 one million)

2.000.000 for this one and other higher ones, we will use the word "millones" .
2.000.000 dos millones (two million)
10.000.000 -diez millones (ten million)

If you are going to have a noun after the word "millón" or "millones" you will need to add the word "de" in between "millón/ millones" and the noun.
e.g. Yo tengo un millón de flores. (I have one million flowers.)

In Spanish numbers on their own have no gender. However, when numbers modify items the following numbers will show gender.
uno = un (m)
uno = una (f)
for: 1, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91

1- un chico (one boy)
1- una chica (one girl)
21 chicos = veintiún chicos (twenty-one boys)
21 chicas = veintiuna chicas (twenty-one girls)
51 chicos = cincuenta y un chicos (fifty one boys)
51 chicas = cincuenta y una chicas (fifty one girls)

the numbers 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900
will show gender when referring/modifying items
200- libros -doscientos libros (two hundred books)
200- casas -doscientas casas (two hundred houses)

Follow this patter for the other number
Keep in mind that
500 is different
500 -chicos -quinientos chicos (five hundred boys)
500 -chicas -quinientas chicas (five hundred girls)
