This episode has a different focus as we shift away from fat loss science and talk about Mobility, Stability, Movement and yes.... muscles! We explore concepts in movement that looks to make everything work better. Make __ works nice. In the first part of the video we talk about concepts in mobility training, including stability and flexibility (we don't just mean stretching). This is a fundamental part in movement, posture and making ___ work nice.
In the 2nd part of this video we talk about muscle anatomy and the three types of hypertrophy that can really change your understanding of what happens to muscles when you start losing weight or stop training.
This is your chance to learn about Sarcoplasmic and Myofibrillar hypertrophy (plasma and protein synthesis, the gooey stuff!) as well as long-term muscle gains in the form of myonuclear accretion, adding to the myonuclear domain (MND). The only real way to build muscle and keep it for the long term.
