DASH is a healthy eating plan that promotes long-term lifestyle improvements, not a fad diet. Saturated fat, trans fat, and cholesterol are all low in this dish. It includes whole grains, poultry, fish, lean meats, beans, and nuts, as well as fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy items.
