Simple Gifts Through Sherwood Forest

This is my cover of the traditional Shaker song from 1848. I put it to my footage from my visit to Sherwood Forest in 2009. I just happened to be visiting during "Sherwood Through the Ages" which is an annual re-enactment of going through time in the Sherwood Forest. It was such a treat and I was simply amazed by all the simplicity of life from the women cooking, to the children playing on the limb of a tree. Walking through the forest an age of no technology where life was truly simple was a "simple gift" to me that I will treasure for the rest of my lifetime.
