The Darkslayer himself, VERGIL, begins his epic quest through the story/campaign/mission mode- on the super hard 'Son of Sparda' difficulty, no less! The demons are tougher than ever, but never fear- VERGIL will kill them! And he's not just gonna kill demons. He's gonna kill demons while *being cool*! Because that's what Devil May Cry is all about!

Now, you may be saying, "But Kyle, 'Mission 2' can't be the beginning! Because '2' isn't '1', and '1' is the first of all the numbers!" Yes. I am not a smart man, but I know how numbers work. Mostly.

Well, Mission 1 is dumb and lasts like five seconds. So I skipped it and we're starting at 2. YOLO.

Now- prepare... to DIE... while Vergil is cool. But only if you're a Demon, which is probably statistically unlikely. If you're just a regular person, you'll be aight. Even better than aight, in fact! Because, while "Bury the Light" is a boss awesome song worthy of Vergil himself, having to hear the first 30 seconds play over and over again every time a new battle starts gets kinda old after the first 1,000 times.

So, by using an extremely complicated fusion of technology and magic (aka 'Streamlabs'), we get to enjoy a super special custom soundtrack, certified by VERGIL himself (not really, but I think he would approve because it's pretty lit and Vergil is a true man of culture).
