Jelly Fish is a fascinating creature that belongs to a phylum of the Cnidaria class. The majority of Jelly Fishes are found in shallow water or sandy beaches and provide food to many animals living in that region. A majority of the Jelly Fish is transparent but some species of this marine animal have a transparent, colorful umbrella-shaped body. Most jellyfish can move by contracting muscles on one side of their bodies, causing the whole animal to bend like a bow and propel itself through the water. Jellyfish are efficient hunters; they can catch small fish and crustaceans with their tentacles which trail behind them like kelp. Jellyfish sting more than 60,000 times per day.
