Biden and Xi’s virtual summit was a draw to both sides since no one made real concessions. Xi called Biden “old friend,” but Biden refused to echo it. After the meeting, the US is committed to issuing one-year multiple-entry visas for Chinese journalists. Likewise, the CCP committed the same conditions for US reporters in China.

The CCP always wanted to outcompete the US in world leadership and technology development. Its ambition expanded from the Asia-Pacific region to the whole world.

British Medical Journal (BMJ) reported that a whistleblower accused Pfizer’s contractor of serious violations during clinical trials, including data fraud. But the company fired the whistleblower the same day after she emailed a complaint to the FDA. Pfizer later refuted the report.
