Biden Takes Spin in Electric Hummer

President Biden is highlighting the billions of dollars in his bipartisan infrastructure deal to pay for the installation of electric vehicle chargers across the country, an investment he says will go a long way to curbing planet-warming carbon emissions.

Biden on Wednesday toured a General Motors plant in Detroit, Michigan, that manufactures electric vehicles.

The president also got a chance to test drive an electric GMC Hummer, which is being sold at a starting price of $108,700.

He climbed into the vehicle, which weighs more than four tons, with a Secret Service agent, starting off slow and then flooring it. He pulled up near waiting reporters and the delegation.

"Anyone wanna jump in the back?" Biden asked.
