Join Susannah Welch of the Marine Wildlife Program, a partnership between DLNR and NOAA, as she shares innovative ways to protect species, including the promotion of barbless hooks and their usefulness in sustaining the fisheries of Hawaii – as they are easy to remove in catch-and-release fishing - and for freeing accidently hooked wildlife.
