Skateboarding is an action sport originating in the United States, riding and performing tricks using a skateboard. An a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years.
The popularity of skateboarding, with its complex tricks has won several fans, a majority of whom belong to the United States. Apart from being a fun sport, skateboarding also helps your health tones the muscles. Whether you skateboard for its health benefits or just for sheer pleasure of the sport. A fact that has arisen is that skateboarding has actually considered to have been developed from surfing, and was initially known as sidewalk surfing,
with the first skateboard in the year 1950
In 2016, it was announced that skateboarding will be represented at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, for both male and female teams.
Skateboarding is a way to reduce social barriers, experience camaraderie, and collaborate with others to create meaningful experiences.
The skatepark will attract skaters of every age, race, gender, and economic background.
