Making Plant Based Fun Food isn't that hard here I show you how to make SOFT VEGAN RAISIN PRETZELS. I do go through step by step and even give you a little history on the Pretzels at the end. Thank you for watching

INGREDIENTS:

1pkg. (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water (110-115 degrees)
2tb. brown sugar

1 tsp. salt
2 cups cake flour
2-2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup raisins

8 cups water
1/3 cup baking soda

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a mixing bowl/stand mixer whisk together warm water, yeast, brown sugar
2. Let stand for 10 minutes or until yeast is active
3. Slowly mix in dry ingredients to the wet
4. Kneed Or Let in the mixer for 10-15 minutes until elastic
5. Kneed or Mix in Raisins
6. Put in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a wet towel
7. Let rise until dough doubles in size
8. Put dough on a table or counter
9. Divide into 14 even pieces
10. Ball and roll out pieces into ropes
11. Create a U with ropes and twist 2x
12. Take the ends and bring them down and attach to bottom of rope
13. Boil 8 cups of water with 1/3 cups baking soda
14. Place pretzels in water for 30 seconds on each side
15. Place on a baking sheet with parchment or nonstick paper
16. Bake at 450 F Degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown
