How many times a day do you peek behind your refrigerator door, hoping to be inspired? It stands to reason that keeping your refrigerator stocked with tasty items that are also excellent for you will increase your chances of eating healthy meals and snacks.
However, keep in mind that your fridge is subject to the "out of sight, out of mind" approach. For example, many of us have bright fruits and veggies on hand, but we store them in the crisper drawers at the bottom of the fridge. Healthy items that are ready-to-eat and glaring at you from eye-level shelves in your refrigerator are more likely to be seen, eaten, and enjoyed.
