Sawmill A Cedar Barn Post From Start Of WWII

Johnny hauled in a cedar post from an old 100 year old barn that was torn down. It was old growth from about the time of the second world war. He cut it in half and milled the upper log with a chainsaw. He made a porch slider swing out of the lumber. The lower log had rebar in it. It was removed by welding on a nut to pull it out. Then we milled in to lumber into 14" boards on our antique circular saw. This lumber was completely seasoned and will not have to be stacked and dried.

Used tractor grapple, chainsaw, Foley Belsaw M-14 circle sawmill. Triple T Ranch & Sawmill on Choctaw Ridge is homesteading with a sawmill & anvil.
