Stunning Northern Lights Captured in Ayr Scotland

— Claire Allison was able to capture some stunning imagery in Ayr, Scotland - the Northern Lights over the coast.

On the night of 3rd November around 9:30pm, Claire had her camera set to snap any and all of the dancing lights.

The star ridden sky was accompanied by the swirling greens and blues from the famous aurora borealis.

Claire said: "Its really quite rare to see these as active this far south in Scotland but were absolutely stunning.

"I set my DSLR camera up on a tripod and took a photo on a long exposure of 20 seconds continuously for over an hour and then played them all together to make this video.

"It's really one of the most stunning natural sites you can see."
