Tunisia: Tense scenes as thousands of protesters rally in Tunis

Riot police were deployed to the parliament buildings and the Bardo palace, to prevent the protesters, who were chanting anti-Saied slogans, from reaching them.

Some protesters attempted to pull away the metal barriers, with reinforcements arriving shortly afterwards as protesters continued.
