Ground Beef, Portion Control, and Inflation: In this video, I talk about the cost of ground beef, and the importance of portion control during this time of inflation. Using a food scale I explain why I choose the weight of beef for single servings, and show two methods of preparing those servings for the freezer.

**Using the oven: I have a vintage oven which uses a standing pilot light. This means the pilot light is always on, there is no igniter. My oven, therefore, stays warm enough to incubate ferments.
