This 5.5x50 tubed stick features a dark brown rustic firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight seams, double cap, buttery soft feel and pungent rich sweet coffee aroma finished with a closed foot. First light reveals an extremely tight draw with a possible knot near the band. Massaging it produced enough opening for a mild-medium smoke with very smooth aged tobacco like flavors of a slight sweet coffee with the same through the long finish. The first third gets a bit better construction wise, with a better draw and medium bodied smoke with flavors of a deep tobacco and oak on the draw with a dark sweetness joining in through the finish, almost a licorice flavor. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes transitioning to a tobacco core with slight coffee and cocoa quickly followed by a deeper smooth plain finish. Construction is better with good thick smoke output, solid ash and a razor sharp burn. Finishing at 1:15 the last third just went to a plain earth.
