Troubleshooting Netbeans and the JDK on Mac OS X

These are some of my older videos, and there are newer versions of the software available, but until the screaming idiot who lives above us moves, enjoy these, and I'll put new videos in place when he's gone.

So, you're ready to start programming php (or C/C++/Java etc) on you Mac, but you wind up with Netbeans having a big button labeled "Left Button" in the notifications area at the bottom, and netbeans won't do anything remotely useful, it's probably your version of the JDK.
