Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla talks about the "gene editing" potential of mRNA vaccine technology.

“There’s a third application which is for people that they are born with a mistake in their DNA code. And there are a lot of rare diseases that are happening to people because somewhere in one’s history there’s one small mistake in their DNA.

Those people they have to live without until the ends of their lives, and many times their lives don’t last very long because of this mistake in their genes.

There are a lot of technologist that are trying to use gene editing. They are trying to use the same technology to be able to change or repair the mistake of your DNA, so that you can cure those people."
