Concrete Penetration Test with 500 Auto Max – Big Horn Armory

We decided to test the AR500 to see if it would penetrate completely through 2 concrete blocks stacked end to end, so the bullet has to go through 6 portions of concrete. We were shooting a 600 Grain hard cast bullet at around 1600 FPS generating roughly 3400 foot lbs of energy.
