Pornography and Human Trafficking with Helen Taylor and MP Arnold Viersen

Thousands of lives and relationships across Canada have been profoundly impacted by pornography. It is commonly agreed that the porn industry targets children in the hopes of getting them hooked as consumers for life, and most experts in this field would agree that the porn industry is one of the main elements fuelling human trafficking both in Canada and worldwide. Right now, there are more people trapped in sex slavery than at any point in human history.

Joining us this show are two exceptional guests. The first is Helen Taylor, the Vice President of Exodus Cry, a leading advocacy group, both raising awareness on this issue and fighting it head on. She joins us to discuss the issue and also their new documentary, “Raised on Porn”.

Also joining us is Member of Parliament, Arnold Viersen, who has become well known as a freedom fighter on the issue, raising awareness in the House of Commons on the devastating impacts exposure to sexually explicit images have on Canadians, and calling on our leaders to act to protect the vulnerable on this issue.
