Why maths isn't adding up

This is - in a nutshell - why maths is going so very badly wrong in schools. My 25-minute video takes you through a very simple exercise which highlights exactly what textbooks, workbooks, revision guides, and even teachers are doing wrong.

They are crushing the confidence of your children and I show you exactly how to stop it from happening.

Ask yourself how many times in a week you hear somebody say: “I’m crap at maths,” “I can’t do maths,” or “My maths is rubbish.” We are a nation of mathsphobes and this has to stop. It is not acceptable.

The subject is MATHEMATICS and the focus is how to teach:
COLUMN ADDITION.

The AIM is to show you how to build your son/daughter’s confidence in mathematics whatever their current level of ability.

TEACHING AGE RANGE: 7-11 years.

If your son or daughter is currently learning maths - of any kind - then watch this video as it explains what is going wrong AT ALL LEVELS of maths learning, be it Key Stage 2, 3 and even GCSE and ‘A’ Level.
