Why do I feel numb? mini series Part 2 of 3

Part 1 https://rumble.com/vp3v7i-healing-trauma-the-9-dangers-of-feeling-numb-part-13.html

Part 3

Uncover the reasons why you created this feeling of being numb. Part 1 reveals some insights into what you do when you go numb so be sure to check that out to understand this video more fully.

In this video, you will see how feelings of being rejected, neglected or unloved created the need to suppress the pain.
As a baby you experience feelings at 100% volume.
As you grow you realise your parents don't always have time for you and that creates a desire to be independent, tough and resilient so that you don't have to experience the pain.
When you join society, through school and other events, you learn that people don't want you to express your feelings. They expect you to behave in certain ways so that you are acceptable to them.
You desire to belong so you choose to behave appropriately but this leaves you shut off from your own emotions. That disconnection creates a sense of not belonging and so you lose even more connection with people.
