Revelation Lesson-24: The Kingdom is Here! - Part II

This is Lesson-24 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.

The title for this lesson is: The Kingdom is Here! - Part II.

Our focus passage is Revelation 11:7-14.

In our previous episode we began our study of Rev. 11. In this chapter we are going to see the second seven judgment cycle come to an end with the sound of the seventh trumpet.
 
This will usher the arrival of Christ’s kingdom and initiate the 3rd and last cycle of sevens that will finalize God’s judgment on this earth.
 
In our lesson we also discussed the reality that as believers we live in this tension of “already but not yet” when it comes to the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven.
 
In part one of our teaching from Revelation 11 we met the two strong witnesses that will stand for the Lord in the end times.

They will stand for the Lord. They will witness for Him and speak His truth. They will face fierce opposition.
 
Yet, they will be under divine protection, and they will be divinely empowered throughout their ministry. They will finish the work God has for them.

In today’s lesson we are going to look at Part II of our teaching from Rev. 11.
 
Today we will meet the ultimate opposition figure in eschatology, the one person who will rise to oppose the two witnesses and God Himself.
