Review New Cars : 2022 Audi A4 - Starting at $40,945 | NafiraMadiun

HIGHS: standard Quattro all-wheel drive, supple ride, sporty handling.

LOWSS: spartan appearance, we'd like a manual transmission, and the touchscreen infotainment system isn't as straightforward as the earlier clickwheel-controlled version.

VERDICT: While some rivals are more fun to drive or have more luxurious amenities, the A4 remains appealing because to its versatility.

The 2022 Audi A4 is a quintessential compact luxury sports car, with a plush interior, energetic handling, upscale appearance, and a plethora of tech options.

The brand's trademark Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard on all versions, and purchasers can select between two turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the most powerful of which produces 261 horsepower.

The A4 masterfully balances a fun-to-drive attitude with a forgiving ride, so consumers looking for both sports sedan maneuvers and a luxury-car demeanor will be satisfied.

The A4's interior, like that of other Audi cars, is littered with digital displays, including the optional Virtual Cockpit gauge cluster.

The Genesis G70 and Mercedes-Benz C-class have more style than the A4, but the A4 is a well-rounded product that caters to a wide spectrum of purchasers.

What's New for the Year 2022?

The popular Black Optic upgrade, which replaces the A4's chrome exterior trim with glossy black accents, is now available on the entry-level 40 vehicles. Sport suspension is now standard on the more powerful 45 versions.
Other than that, the A4 will remain unchanged until 2022.

Real-World MPG and Fuel Economy

The A4 sedan is predicted to get up to 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway.

The vehicle we tested on our 75-mph highway fuel-economy route returned 33 mpg, which is part of our rigorous testing procedure. Visit the EPA's website for additional information on the A4's fuel economy.

Cargo, Interior, and Comfort
With high-quality materials and conveniently accessible technology features, the A4's modern-looking interior does a decent job of blending form and function. The dashboard design, like that of most Audis, is clean and simple

—a work of modern art. When you use the A4, the majority of the buttons and switches are exactly where you want them to be and feel solid. The rear seat is one of the roomiest in its class, with generously designed cushions.

The A4 sedan, like many other entry-luxury cars, is comfortable but not spacious; if you need extra cargo capacity, opt for the A4 Allroad wagon.

The back seat of the A4 folds down to a helpful 40/20/40 split, making it easy to transport longer goods like skis. We were able to fit five carry-on baggage in the trunk, but the A4's limited storage bins and nooks disappointed us.
