B Encouraged: Unjust Attacks Prepare Us Well for the Things That Matter Most (11/12/2021)

In the last chapter of Joshua, the people are reminded of their own journey of salvation. God has been faithful in very tangible, present ways. In this review, the unfair, unjust attacks of the eastern tribes are mentioned. The tribes that should have simply let them walk through their land, attack the Israelites. But these ill-timed battles benefit the Israelites at several levels. Their land is increased, curses are turned into blessings, and the fear of the LORD goes before them into the true land of their inheritance. This is good news. That which is against us, serves us and helps our deepest yearnings for God's healing and victory to be increased and be blessed unto prospering.
