Power, desire to control, fear, mind control and societal manipulation, religious fanaticism, and more!
These are just some of the themes we find masterfully portrayed by Frank Herbert in his Dune science-fiction saga and brilliantly depicted by Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049) in his 2021 movie rendition of the first half of the first book of the series, Dune.
We will discuss this universe that reflects so many aspects of our own society here on planet Earth with our guest Sean McCann.
