Doctors Are Baffled By My Mystery Skin Condition | SHAKE MY BEAUTY

NANCY, 17, from Milton Keynes, England suffers a chronic skin condition that causes flare-ups on her face with bruise-like red patches and stinging pain. The flare-ups happen sporadically and without warning. It first started happening when she was just 11 years old and what started as a few patches, now covers up to 70% of her face. Despite constant visits to the doctors Nancy and her family have been unable to reach a diagnosis. Nancy told Truly: “We have no idea what my condition is, what causes it, no answers.” Initially Nancy felt self-conscious about her face and would cover it with thick makeup but she now feels confident enough to go without it - be that out in public with friends and family or on social media, where she has amassed an incredible following on TikTok with over 1.2 million subscribers. The influencer is using her platform to encourage other women and girls to celebrate their own bare faces. Nancy said: "At the start my confidence would go down when I get a nasty comment. Now I don’t even blink an eyelid at it. My flare-ups make me who I am. I hope to inspire people to love themselves a bit more."
