Measures to curb COVID-19 hammered tourism and business travel in British Columbia over the past 19-months. Revenues fell by 70% in 2020 compared to the year prior. Considering the industries bring into the province a total of 14 billion dollars per year, it’s a staggering loss in revenue and jobs.

At a press conference in Vancouver today, industry leaders called for the federal government to “follow the science” and scrap the expensive pre-departure PCR test for fully vaccinated visitors.
