All is Rooted in Christ - Colossians 3:1-14

Continuing through Colossians verse by verse. Verses 1-4 is a classic move by Paul where he is referring to what preceded what he says – and yet – he is also referring to what he is about to say. Verses 1-4 are a transitional declaration of theological truth both to how we are accepted of God – AND – to how Christ is formed in us; how we live as Christian men and women. It is a transitional statement referring to both our positional righteousness and our practical righteousness; our justification and our sanctification – BOTH of which are tied to the finished work of Christ.
