Where are you sitting currently? Do you have an online business set up already, or are you just getting yourself started here and doing some preliminary research? Or maybe you're where I was years and years ago...

...website's set up, online business is set up...spent way too many late nights getting everything put together and then finally...crickets. Nothing!

See, a critical thing to understand about running a successful business is, building and launching your website is not enough. "Build it an they will come" is a myth! Just because you've built something doesn't mean people will instantly know it exists.

So really, getting your business set up and online is really only the first step. There's a crucial and often elusive second component: Telling the audience of people you wish to serve that your business exists.

Now, this can be done in a variety of ways...but here, we'll be focusing in on ranking your web pages, your product offers, your articles and so on in search engines. This is an incredibly powerful, long-term strategy that can bring floods of traffic to your website for years and years.

This is what SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is all about. Now there are all sorts of misunderstandings in the world of SEO...misunderstandings like "SEO's oversaturated and not worth it anymore" or "SEO's shady and a big scam" or "SEO's too technical and too complex to figure out."

And you want to know something? Not only did I believe these sorts of things myself for years and years, but also...they're completely wrong! SEO is very much alive and well and SEO is a totally viable and powerful strategy for online business owners like you and I.

And the out-of-pocket costs are practically zero. So, no matter where you are currently, with just a little bit of understanding about how to begin attracting organic traffic to your website you can begin putting all of this to use for yourself and your online business.

A big reason why leveraging the power of SEO and ranking in search engines for yourself is so important is because it gives you a stream of free, steady traffic from pre-qualified prospects directly to your website, your products, and your offers.
